Ruskin High School will be a community of empowered learners. By providing a diverse and rich educational climate, we will prepare every student to succeed academically, socially and personally. Students will be inspired daily and challenged in a safe atmosphere of mutual respect and trust.
Ruskin High School serves the 10th through 12th graders in the Hickman Mills C-1 School District. Our vision statement: Transition from a school of teaching to a school of learning. RHS Goals: To become an academic institution that: Is student centered. Allows data to guide all instructional decisions in the building. Standardizes all building processes. Increases academic performance in all tested areas by 10% annually. Decreases behavior incidents by 50%. Concludes the year with an attendance rate of 94% or higher. Maintains a graduation rate of 90% or higher. Enhances communication with parents, guardians and community.
