The Communication Arts courses are designed to provide students with a balance in English/Communications Programs. Colleges require 4 credits of English for admission, and those communication skills (reading, writing, listening, and speaking) will definitely be a factor in your success whether you continue your formal education or enter the work force, immediately after graduation. Communication Arts is offered a the 10th, 11th, and 12th grade levels. Honors/Advanced and Dual Credit courses are available for those students who choose a more rigorous pathway. Creative Writing and Journalism classes (Introduction to Journalism, Newspaper, Yearbook) are offered as communication arts electives.
