Eligibility Requirements: Minimum 2.0 grade point average the previous semester with no more than 1 F. Maintaining satisfactory progress toward graduation. Maintaining a 70% average during 6 week grading period. No Failures during the weekly grade check.
Time Commitment: Required practice will be Monday through Friday. Multiple games and/or events.
Times vary. Other requirements and obligations as mandated by Head Coach.
Activity Time Period: Season begins in November-March. Summer camp, conditioning and practice are June-August.
Location: Ruskin gym
Procedures for Joining: Tryouts are held during the fall.
Description: Basketball is a team sport in which two teams of 5 players try to score points against one another by throwing or “shooting” a ball through the top of a basketball hoop under organized rules.
Membership Limit: 30-40
Varsity Letter: Each Varsity member will receive a letter for completing the season on the Varsity level. Each Coach reserves the right to deny a letter to any athlete that is incorrigible or violates team rules.
