Eligibility Requirements:   Students in Micro Economics are required to participate, event is also open to others that wish to form their own teams.

 Time Commitment:  Approximately 2 weeks of class participation (State  qualifiers will be required to work on anticipated test material at least 4 to 6 hours  for the month preceding the national qualifying tournament. To be determined).

Activity Time Period:  First and second semester.  At the conclusion of the unit assignment, students will be afforded an opportunity to take the state qualifying examination as a member of their selected team (5 individuals).  The top 20 teams in the district (KC) will compete to see which of the top 2 teams advance to attend a state championship in Jefferson City for eligibility for the national competition (location is TBD)

Procedures for Joining:   Enroll in Micro Economics either first or second semester.

Description: A competition to show an individual and team’s collective knowledge of consumer and personal economic activities and rules that effect the consumer during their life.
